i work at a kayak rental shack on the north fork of long island where my grandmother lives. i sit at a picnic table next to a kayak rack on the beach all day reading a book, and every so often someone hands me 20 dollars and i drag a kayak down to the water for them. There's usually no one on the beach unless its a weekend, so i can usually go for a quick swim or take a nap if i want. last summer i usually worked about 40 hours a week so i read about 250 pages a day, which keeps my brain well oiled all summer long, too.

haha, today a group comes to our ropecourse from 10-16h so i get paid for about 7 hours work but now the group asked me to build them a fire this evening so i'll get paid till 22h and i'll get free food and beer :)

Exhibit staff at the local zoo. I pretty much hang out with kangaroos all day, occasionally teaching the public about they're lives.

To make my real money, though, I'm kind of an artist's apprentice to my dad. I make bronze sculptures and sell them for the big bucks.

I was going to get a job at hood for minimum wage but the hour long drive isnt ideal, instead i will be thinning trees 2 minutes from my house (aka my dad doesnt want to do it all himself)

I work in a corn field for 5 weeks out of my summer, and that gives me enough $$$ for a whole year of buying random shiz. This year I got an entirely new ski setup thanks to this job. It is awful, but fastest way to make a lot of money. I've done it since I was 12... Each year you work, you get 50 cents an hour extra, so I'm making around 9 dollars which is awesome for a 16 year old in Michigan. I would have to work at Taco Bell all summer to make the same amount of money. I'm applying at certain places around town, so after I detasel for a month, I can relax in an air conditioned fast food joint and make some extra $$

Fast food joints aren't exactly cushy jigs..
It'll be more like flipping burgers and fries in front of bubbling grease and a super hot grill or standing in front of a register for hours..

Farming barley for research. Get to work outside and watch plants start as seeds and eventually harvest the yields. I enjoy it.

I live in Calgary now and just got my acl reconstruction surgery 6 weeks ago today, not sure what I want to do, usually I would Landscape, but I am thinking that will be to hard on the knee, thinking of just chillen and working at the stampede or a restaurant or become a lifeguard... not to sure haha, I really want to do something chill but be able to meet good people and have fun !

My primary job is landscaping/groundskeeping at six flags new england (lol)

Then I deliver pizzas on some nights for dominos.

Im making good money right now but I literally have just been working and sleeping for the past few weeks.

ahhh...to be of the age when summer was different than any other season. I am doing the same job that I will do everyday, of every season, of every year, of every decade from now until I am old and can't see, and can't move, and can't breathe, and can't do anything but punch a bingo card and collect my measly retirement....wait...what was the question again?

I'm 15 and my first job is working maintenance at a golf course. I love the job but it is stressful working every weekday 6am-2pm and every other weekend!

Thats over full time so you should be making bank though in over time. But that kinda sucks in my opinion.

I'm working at a cabinet shop doing clean up and such. full time which means good money, but the work is pretty hard at times. But on the bright side I get to use $30,0000 machines for my personal wood projects on the side which is super sick.
