I wish I did more reading these days, I got back into it a little but not enough. There were def some shitty books that you read or were forced to read in school but what about the good ones.


For me Hatchet, The Giver, The Hobbit.

Those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

My side of the Mountain and Hatchet still are the best books we had to read in school IMO. Hatchet especially remains one of my favorite books.

I greatly dedicate my creativity to the books I read/was read as a child. Honestly, these stories came to life and seriously made me who I am. Nostalgia is fucking me up the face, but I've never been more grateful for these books

Some series about the "edge", some dinky series where life has been pushed to the end of the world. either way i fucking loved it.

My Side of the Mountain and the sequels remain my favorite childhood books, but Artemis Fowl is also a very interesting series if you like Fantasy/Sci-fi. As far as classics, the entire Chronicles of Narnia series is worth reading, A Boy and his Horse remains my favorite, closely followed by The Last Battle. I am currently making my way through The Lord of the Rings series, it seems like something I need to be exposes to before going to college. I hope to finish soon, but four looming AP tests and a 25 page thesis are not helping.
