i remember schmuck saying something about him being super smart which makes me guess that he's going to school or something with a career, but for what?

Pretty sure he's still writing his, "Life of Symms." Column for Powder Mag isn't he? Other then that yeah he's gone. He was easily the funniest guy in skiing when he was kicking around.
