I usually tighten them just enough to keep them from warping. That's usually around the 2nd notch for my boots.
Protip: Make sure your tongue is correctly positioned before you tighten them, it's not a nice feel taking your boots out in the fall and finding you had left the tongue sideways when you put them away lol.
Yeah i know the toungue is important. But yeah do you think there is a more a danger of them warping from buckiling too tight or warping on there own? Theres gotta be a goldilox zone of where to tighten them for minimum warping from either cause
I do the same except for the top which I do one notch less, I have no idea why, but if you buckle it the same as when you ski it wont change much at all by the next time that you wear them. Depending on how long you leave them for..
