Moment Tahoe skis - would appreciate any info
I got given a pair of 2012 Tahoes not long back in a 180. I have not been able to find many concrete reviews on the ski and am undecided whether to mount the ski or sell on. I usually ride on Bacons but have been looking for a more generic all mountain ski that carves well and is fun on groomers and a little bit of park. Any of you guys have a pair and if so could you let me know how they ride.
i really wanna see if they will be of use to me first , if i decide to sell i will hit you up bro
They're pretty middle of the road when it comes to performance, meaning they do everything pretty well but not GREAT at any given aspect. More of a "one ski quiver" type of ski for someone who doesn't ski switch. They'll do exactly what you want, if you want a traditional all mountain ski to ski groomers with, and a little bit of tip rocker for light pow and chop/crud, that can also handle some laps in the park. Just don't expect them to ski switch, as there not built for that.
Ski Yellowstone. Jackson Hole. Grand Targhee. Big Sky. Bridger Bowl.
they're pretty fantastic, good all around ski, they have a good shape for tahoe, so they can hold an edge pretty solid but arent too hooky when its soft

Thanks .....think i will give them a go
i skied tahoes for years and they're super fun for ripping around on groomers, skiing bumps, and dicking around in trees. both pairs i've had have been super durable, however even with correct waxing the bases have been pretty slow. also if you're on the east coast they don't hold too well when it's super icy. I even put a race edge on one pair but it didn't help too much. most of the time though they hold very nicely on groomers and carve well
i've never tried them in the park or in fresh snow, but if you're looking for a super fun ski to charge around on inbounds they fit the bill
