You're right, I probably would never try that stuff again because I was a lot more stupid 8 years ago. Trust me in that I can claim a lot harder but every time I do I feel dirtier than fucking Jen Hudak with a shit-lined condom.

It's called a profile. You know that thing that has a collection of photos and videos that belong to one person?... yeah.

I know they haven't because I'm sure what they had set up for the first couple years of the junkyard jam would not be possible today due to liability seeing how no rail jam since has had such reckless features. Also I'm pretty sure no one has hit a jump blindfolded either... so you're definition of "gnarly" is a watered down version of the crap we dealt with when you were busy learning how to walk.

If you ski with someone better than you then you can watch them do stuff and hit the same trick right after em. Like when I first started trying to nut up and do inverts I kept pussin out. Then my friend Dylan strait up told me he would toss flat 3 and I had to throw it right after him. It was a lot less scary knowing that off that jump in those conditions I knew for sure it could be landed.

Make sure you really understand how a trick is thrown. Be able to visualize and understand what it will feel like mid trick. You will be more confident and it will be easier to be ballsier.

This season was my first where i wasn't scared to try new tricks. Playing games of skate etc. really help and i grew more confident when i fell but i could get back up, then i knew that isn't as bad as you anticipate it to be so you just send it. also filming and skiing with people better really helps

Ski with someone better than you, get someone to rile you up, film it, etc...... these all work (probably in that order).

Many, many years back (like a decade, I'm old) I stuck my first Misty at Momentum. Main motivation; knowing that I was being filmed for video review and the following words of advice from my coach:

'Try again, but with more balls'

The coach with these words of inspiration was Sarah Burke (SIP). It worked.
