I was wondering if any ns played disc golf and what disc's you like to use. It's the start of the season so I thought I would post a thread about it. I mostly use the star teerex and star roadrunner. Sometimes nuke s.s

There is no real courses around me so I have to make them up or wait until I vistit friends in southern California. My favorite disc is my Buzz mid range but I just got a soft wizard  last week and I really like that disc also

I only use really three disc. A beast, buzz ti, and a soft rhyno. The shark is a kick ass disk too but I find the buzz more reliable when I throw it. Can't wait to bomb disks out west, out east almost all the courses are in the woods which makes for technical shots all the time which leads me to not rip discs all the time. Sunday river does have three open holes that are downhill and drives just go forever.

If you use something besides a single driver or mid range then youre way to in to frolf. Really, youre gonna pull a putter out in order to make a 6 ft shot? Im just tryna drink this beer and smoke this doobie but youre acting like this is some big thing.

Anyone else use the app Udisc to track their scores and courses they’ve been to?

ye I have Udsic. I don't usually use it to track my score though, mostly to find new courses.

Disc golf is fun but the people who take it too seriously are annoying. They insist they need like 15 discs too play but you end up playing better than them with teo shitty discs you found.

I get that there are differences bu5 at the end of the day a frisbee's a frisbee and if you have 5+ discs with you, you better be pretty good.

That said shit's fun even though I've probably only been 10 times or so.

Yeah. The first time i played somebody was giving me advice. More like telling me that i was doing a bullshit job ir whatever. Not friendly help. Got the feel for in the first hole and then was doing pretty well.

Idk the point of disc golf is to be laid back and fun imo. By all means try and get that crazy shot, battle your friends, talk some shit to your buddy but just have a good time.

You're hanging out in the woods flinging frisbees at some thing with dangly chains. Lighten up people.

Idk. The difference between a lot of discs is pretty much nothing in the grand scheme of things. Hell you could golf with a few clubs but there's a significant difference between a pitching wedge and a 5 iron etc. If you have 20 discs, want to call the cops om somebody having a beer or smoking the joint, and somebody could kick your ass playing the whole course with a putter you can fuck off.

I started playing 2 years ago. I have 4 different drivers (discmania mentor, vibram onyx, mvp Tesla, innova leopard) I use and an innova shark for most non driving shots.
Really I could probably get away with the Shark and the the Mentor, but the other 3 come in handy a few times a round depending on how I gotta bend it. Only bought 3 of the 5, the other 2 I found and they didn't have any contact info on so I kept em, i got other hobbies I'd rather spend money on.
Groups that are slow as hell and dont let people pass annoy the shit out of me.
