Did a thread last year, I guess a new one wouldnt hurt for this year.

So far, Black Magic is announcing these two cameras (yup, a pocket sized m43 camera, pro res, Cinema DNG RAW, SD cards for $995...)

So incredibly excited! I was planning on getting the BMCC this fall and they just cleared all of my hesitations. Mainly the super 35mm sensor, so much more practical for shooting narrative work in tight locations. Can't wait for the official announcement.

Wow, I'll definitely be looking more into the pocket cinema camera. Only question is when will they start shipping. I believe they are still trying to catch up on preorders from the original bmcc

I'm referring to Blackmagic referring to their cameras as "micro four thirds" in all their press releases. Either make an actual MFT camera or call it s16. Typical vanity titles...

Aren't they referring to the MFT mount that usually goes with the sensor of the same name (except they're not using that sensor here)?
