Underrated Food

What food do you really enjoy, but hardly anyone knows about?

A few off the top of my head are:
- Frozen fruit (Mixed is best)
- Popcorn with mustard
- Blood oranges
- Bokchoy (With a pinch of salt)
- Bagelwhiches

lately I've been making sandwiches with eggos. I made a Nutella and strawberry sandwich on chocolate chip eggos. Also, peanut butter and bananas on buttermilk eggos is super dank.

My dinner tonight was some good pesto with a touch of garlic flavor on rosemary bread, some strong smoky cheddar, lettuce, and bread with a little bit of caramel to accompany its sourdough flavor. Simple pleasures, get at me.

Meats other than beef/chicken/pork; like elk, bison, horse and even rabbit, duck and lamb.

I don't know if they're underrated really, but people here (especially my generation) tend to stay away from these ones, and they're soo fucking delicious.

I've had duck and it is, simply put, different than your mainstream meats like chicken and steak, but still delicious. Oh and every Christmas I have lamb leg, and if you put a little mint jelly on that it is incredible.

Baked Kale chips!

Takes 20 minutes. Basically the best potato chips you will ever have, except,
THEY ARENT POTATO CHIPS
THEY ARE FUCKING GOOD FOR YOU
WHICH MEANS THEY ARE VEGETABLES

I will almost guarantee you wont be able to eat only one, dey crunchy but dey melt in yo mouth like wtf diz must be some real wizardy david blaine shit

sushi. the amount of people that won't try it because "raw fish is gross" definitely makes it an underrated food.

also i don't know how underrated it is, but pineapple is one of the best things to grace this earth. period.

One time we went to a buffet brunch with my grandparents and I just sat at the dessert table eating pineapple. I ate all of it, I couldn't stop and then I got a plate of bacon and some scrambled eggs.

I would say omelettes for how easy they are to cook and how good they are.

cantaloupe with prosciutto


my class had an exchange with italy and when i was there i got served cantaloupe with prosciutto and went like wtf? but it tasted quite good, belive it or not.

I'm really digging my breakfast lately. 

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup granola
1 tsp chia seeds
handfull of frozen blueberries.

I layer them in a jar and eat it when I get to work.  Super tasty.

Also, Triscuits are amazing.

usually whey protein sucks tastewise, unless you're willing to overpay shitloads just for better taste...
