Hello ns, im going to buy some new skis and its going to be either the Infamous or the Thall. Im 5,7 and 145lbs, but I'm still growing. I like a softer ski, that still holds up on like 50 foot jumps. I ski about 60/40, rails/jumps and almost 100% park. Both look like sick skis and i have no clue about which one to buy.
thanks for the info. Will consider them. But i have heard that the punx have some major durability issues and gets broken after like only 10 days. Do you have the same experience or do yours hold up?
Yep. Nowhere does it say that the infamous is softer, because it's not. I demoed the new punx and the new infamous' last weekend. The infamous is stiffer
I know for a fact that the punx were designed to be a killer comp ski, that still is fun to jib on, and they are used by most of the atomic athletes in big air. The infamous were designed as a jibby ski, that is still usable on big features.
I will give a little bit of info on the Thalls for the sake of the thread. Thalls are fairly stiff underfoot, with quite a soft tip, and a slightly less soft tail, they have carbon stringers in the tip and tail, which will give them a nice amount of rebound and pop, while remaining fairly playful. They are not a pure jibbing/messaround ski, and are actually a competition level slopestyle ski that is still really fun to ride on rails and small features.
