So i'm looking into getting a pair of new park & pipe skis.
Looking for a pair of skis that a beginner can play around with and progress.
Currently I have the Domains 2012. They are ok, but a bit to stiff, plasticy and unforgiving for my taste.
The abangs are really heavy and ride like shit. I have heard of people having durability issues but my buddy has thrashed the shit out of them and after 2 seasons the finally delamed which was bound to happen.
Now on the masterminds. Unless your like 11 years old and are a twig they will break. Most of the masterminds that I load onto the gondola are really fucked up most of the time ranging from delams to blow edges to completely snapped cores. Also judging by the thread on here a lot of kids have had problems as well.
Now the reason why I recommended the traveling circus because you were looking for a ski that had more flex than the domains and even though your a beginner I don't want you to be riding something that will last you a while and won't explode. The traveling circus is the line anthems with some strips of carbon down the middle. The anthems have been around for a while and are pretty good durability wise.
If you really don't like the domains you could try to trade your domains for a pair of TC's here on the buy/sell forum.
