So Ashleigh Mcivor wants you to stop smoking on the chair.
I agree, even though i don't mind the occasional haul....but Im kinda glad shes gettin on this.

i've gotten over people smoking, because if you haven't by the time you're in your 20s you're just going to have a rough go of it socially, but lighting it up in the lift line is pretty damn rude. on the lift, fine, but when i have to stand next to you and breath that shit while you talk to your buddy about how sick your last run was at the top of your lungs, you need some lessons being a grown up.

people smoke cigarettes all the time on the lifts at my hill (although im in atlantic canada and tonnes of people still smoke here)....i think its rude if you dont know the other 3 people with you.

i could make a great meme right now. i was skiin killy and rode the lift with this boarder. so the meme is like this: SMOKES ON LIFT then on the bottom: BLOWS SMOKE OFF SIDE SO YOU DONT HAVE TO SMELL IT and this over a picture of a 16 year old snowboarder knuckle dragger

definitely but as a smoker, if im on a lift with others that i dont know, i wont smoke. if the chair behind me is rather close, i wont smoke. smoking in the lift line is completely rude as well. thats a definite no go.

I see nothing wrong with sparking a bogue on a lift especially after roasting a bowl. If you are on the lift with buddies i see no problem at all. Just FYI this is america... i should be able to smoke anywhere i damn well please.

I smoke on the lift but only if I'm alone or with people I know on the chair, never around strangers. And I always pack out my butts, littering is for assholes.

This pisses me off, as a smoker, I am consistently courteous of those around me on the mountain, I've never lit a dart in the lift line, and on the rare occasion I have the urge to smoke and Im on the lift with strangers I always ask, and if they aren't okay with it, then I wont. Simple as that, who is he to judge people if they want to poison there own lungs. If smokers are courteous about it, I dont see what the big deal is?

I see people drinking on the mountain all the time, but noones pushing for an anti drinking campaign, drinking has ruined just as many lives as smoking has.

Who fucking cares if someone wants to smoke on the lift? If some rando lights up a cig on the lift kindly ask them to put it out. If they don't, so what? You're not going to die or get lung cancer from the guy smoking a cig 3 chairs ahead of you.
