What is the worst injury you've experienced or seen on the hill? Mine would be falling down the stairs at the local resort and having my skis fall on my face...

I was at park city a few weeks ago during a ussa slopestyle. A kid named Jack Severson was laying down a solid run (he is 13) with a front 4 out of a flat rail, 3 tap on a bonk feature, backflip and a misty 7. He came into the last jump with way way way WAAY too much speed. He hit the jump and threw for a backflip. He dropped about 40 feet to straight up flat(literally past the tranny) after trying to tuck for double. He landed on his side/head/neck area and was out cold for about the next 15 to 20 minutes. He is now in a medically induced coma with 2 broken collarbones, full broken rib cage, and 2 broken femurs along with probably some internal damage. Most traumatic experience of my life.

This is the worst injury I've suffered. Other than that I just suffered a knee contusion... nothing terrible but 2 week recovery time frame.

yeah i forgot, he suffered some major brain damage. He was (thankfully) wearing a helmet

recently over shot a jump by about 20 feet broke my thumb and bruised my feet really bad.
