I have been skiing since I was 2 years old (1989). I remember subscribing to Freeze in the late 90s as a 10 year old. I remember being coached by Skogen Sprang at COC in 2002. I remember my first set of twins, log in on nS, and Tanner Hall's segment in Ski Movie III in 2003. However, what happened last night is my favorite moment in skiing over the past decade.
On perhaps the biggest stage our sport has to demonstrate the progression of Skiing, E-Dollo showed that Skiing wasn't dominated by robotic/soul less park jocks like Bobby Brown or Gus Kenworthy. The X Games judging came through and provided sound judgement by rewarding the best skier out there with a Gold Medal.
The torch of skiing's true ambassador has been passed from Tanner to E-Dollo. Damn proud
