Maybe in the eyes of the general public. But on any given day at keystone it's not surprising to see more skiers than snowboarders in the park.

you can snowmobile in so many more places than you can ski, and its probably one of the more impressive looking things to someone uneducated about any of the sports, and it probably draws in some people who are normally into motocross and the like.

Skiing is actually growing while snowboarding is contracting.
