If you slide a rail on the nose/tail piece of your binding, you are not pressing.

Rocking back and forth on the rail because you got on it from the side or for whatever reason is not pressing.

Crouching down low doesn't mean you are pressing.

Sorry to burst your bubbles Mcveigh fan boys but despite his ability to do insane presses and ride with butter style, more often than not, he's just sliding a rail.

no doubt that this is a sick picture of keefer but no way he stayed on the box like this the whole time, he most likely just did i quick nollie. No doubt he can nosebutter on boxes like this, however nowhere near this drastic, his tails most likely just slapped down after the picture was taken. I would get a better picture of a consistent/constant nose press

If you understand the real difference in skateboarding between blunt and tail youèd realize there is one in skiing reet.

In skateboarding Tail slide = Lip slide in and Blunt = Normal in.

No, that's called a truck driver grab with some kid doing a supposed tail tap to rail slide... if he even slides the rail or actually taps it, that is.

if you watch skate on snow, they call blunts all the time and they are nowhere near all angled and shit. i get the way you get on the rail argument but i feel like the real reason behind that logic is if you lipslide then into a nose press you gonna end up angled cause of physics and crap.

plus we have people on this thread making the it has to be angled argument and some making the its the way you get on the rail argument.


i would like to see someone post a VIDEO of someone holding a grind angled the whole way. the way you get on the rail argument makes more sense, but whats wrong with lipslide to nosepress, lipslide to tail press....ect?
