what size did the boot fitter size you up as?
By the sound of it the 28.5 would have been alot better. Dont forget that boots get between a half to a full size bigger when they pack in.
Genrally the boots should feel a bit too small in the shop. Dont forget you can make boots bigger but you cant make them smaller.
Your best bet is take them into a good bootfitting shop. Have one of the fitters look at the fit f your current boots, if he thinks there ok then see what he recomends doing. If they are too big, sell them and buy what the fitter recomends.
Last point, I saw Onenerdy write this earlier in another thread and I thought it was spot on. If when you are buying boots, if the fitter does not recommend custom footbeds then you are not seeing a boot fitter.
