How To Tell or Know When To Wax Your Skis

I bought the Armada El Rey a few weeks ago they have 6 days on them. the bases feel really dry and i dont feel any wax. Do they wax skis in the factory?

They wax them in the factory, but its just kind of a protective wax, not really meant for riding. Its up to you weather to wax or not, but you wont have a terrible time if you dont.

Every couple days. I try to not go more than 4 ski days. Wax em with the right wax and make em super fast. Everytime after that you will be able to tell when they need wax because they will start to get slow as fuck

You can tell when you need wax when the bases feel dry. Also if you have black bases on your skis, the black will turn grey when they start to dry out.

i usually wack on my skis then iron it then scrape it off...do it every couple days works for me

i wax mine about every 2 weeks and i only go skiing on weekends pretty much

If they're feeling dry then you should probably wax them... Just wax every couple of weeks or so or maybe every five or so days of skiing but one day could be a rough day and you could pick up some core shots so just play it by eye i'd say.
