lightness- a false necesity or important mechanism
me and my buddy were discusing the importance of light gear and how it improves your skills. in the snowboard industry light is key, but just pick up some ski boots, and see the contrary. im sure lighter gear would improve ollie performance and spin speed but in turn would reduce equipment durability and strength.
any gurus out there, that know their shit? we are talking life and death here folks....
i think you get used to riding whatever gear you get
my belief is that you buy what you find the most attractive and then you get used to it.
I firmly believe it;s the skier not the ski
Remember it's 10% equipment, 90% rider, and 0% what kinda jacket your wearing
I am a skier because skiing needs a future
