Hi guys,
So i wanna make my own box to glide on to practice, but since I don't wanna waste my skies because of lack of knowledge.
So what material should I use? I was thinking of wood.

I have my own back yard setup and all I use is PVC pipe which you can buy at any Home Depot or Lowes. It comes in all different widths and lengths and its cheap but won't ruin your skis.

no wood is a good idea i heard it slides super well too as long as it's dry and you dig your edges in.

Don't listen to this guy, the wood has to be rotten and splintered in order to slide well on it!
In all seriousness though, don't use wood, it will do horrible things, use PVC, slick plastic, or if you can get your hands on some metal use that
