I have to disagree with you on that one. I feel that you can watch people charge huge lines, ski through trees, drop through pillow lines, or shred some urban in almost any edit online. The point of a ski movie is to go deeper than the shot and see what goes into making these films and to hear from the skiers and their point of view.
"movies" made like PBP or Level 1 with segment after segment just feel like watching a bunch of individual edits one after another. It almost gets boring after a while. The quality of skiing is still just as good as any other movie but its no more than that. Hearing what the skier/filmer has to say about it adds in another level and makes it more interesting.
This is just my opinion and you're certainly entitled to your own.
