Best crowbar lense for allround weather

need a new lense for my goggles as they have too many scratches, i have a high intensty yellow but dont want another one as i did have a sunny pair of goggles but lost them, so what is a good allround lense to have for crowbars?

hi yellow is pretty popular as a one lens quiver.
Ive also heard good things about the pink one (not sure its name) for use in all conditions.

^HI Yellow would be terrible for bright conditions. I think you're thinking of HI Persimmon. Blue Irid and Pink Irid I have hear both do well for all around

HI persimmon would be my choice. Pink iridium is my second choice.

my experience is i own blue, black, fire, pink, HI yellow, HI persimmon and persimmon.

persimmon or the hi- version. i have persimmon as my only lens and i've never though tit was too bright out and I can even wear it at night when the lights are on

I've got an emerald iridium for everyday riding, and it's super solid. I found the pink irid to be a bit too bright for sunny days, though lots of people seem to like it.
I think emerald and blue both let in the same light, so it's your pick really.

what is darker, fire iridium or grey iridium (the all black lens, if I'm not mistakin)?

and what would you recommend for nightriding/dumping days? clear or hi yellow? (focus is on powder days, nightriding will only be 1 or 2 times haha)

I'd say hi yellow. I feel like it increases contrast from normal vision, and it's not totally useless if the snow lets up and it gets a bit lighter out. Clear is generally strictly for night riding.

pink iridium is your friend
takes out the sun enough, but is still very nice for low light conditions

I believe fire is the darkest. Darker than Black Iridium and Dark Grey for sure.
HI Yellow is the best for night or cloudy dark condition. Clear is a cheaper alternative

pink iridium. i use at night but it still works great on sunny days. i use them in my splices but i assume its the same

right i am now deciding between hi persimmon and pink irridium but am not really sure which one to go for for all round as they are the same price

Wait what is the exact name of the pink lense? Is it g30 iridium or VR28? Those are the ones that look pink to me.

I think it's vr28 pink iridium. Dont buy regular vr28 though they are completely different

the coating on the pink irid will help block out more sun on the sunnier days compared to the persimmon

If you've got money and want an "optimal" solution:

Buy airbrakes, they come with 2 lenses anyway and I think they are one for bright days and one for rather foggy days... then you can just simply switch the lens while you're on the mountain, according to oakley haha...

I think every lens has it's downside for specific weather condition, thus there is no lens that will always serve you perfectly... but from what I heard the pink iridium ones are the most all-condition-usable ones...

I've got fire iridium lenses and will probably get persimmon or hi-yellow ones for the really cloudy days/night riding... but since the fire iridium so far also worked perfectly on dumping days I will wait until I got lot of cash flow again haha
