Please read this post before telling me to go to a boot fitter.
Two years ago I bought some Full Tilt Konflicts and they fit me amazingly that year. Then in last season they started to get a bit tight and even hurt my feet on some days, but I still managed. This year I couldn't wear them for more than 30 minutes at a a time, so I got them stretched. That didn't help much so I think I need new boots.
I don't want to try on every boot ever made, so I'm trying to narrow down my choices before going to the shops. Here's what I want: at least 100 mm last, shock absorbing footbed, stiff-ish flex (I use the #8 tongue on my FTs and the flex is perfect) and preferably, but not necessarily, a 3-piece construction.
Suggestions on boots that I should try on? The final choice will of course be based on fit, but I would like the boot to have the aforementioned qualities.
