Stiffer boots are more know for racing, while softer boots for park. I both race and ski park so I'll give you my take... I have racing boots (very, very stiff) which are my only pair, so I use them in the park too. Personally, the only difference I feel is more shinbang, just because the boot doesn't give. However, with the stiffer boot, if I get thrown backseat, it's easier for me to get forward again. So personally, I like the stiffer boot becaus ethe help my skiing more, including park skiing, with landing and the like, but I do get shinbang pretty easily. So you gotta decide if that's worth it.
I know for a fact that if snow, Newschoolers, or skiing were drugs, I'd be in rehab right now.
