dood, snowbaording is soooo sweeet, its just as good as skiing, the only reason i do skiing is because ive been skiing for like 14 ytears. anyone who hates snowboarders is just insecure about thereself, jsut like in grade school and bullys

We don't hate snowboarders, there's just a light-hearted tribalism that develops in such an inmersive culture in as in the ''snowsliding/mountain'' culture that comes to from such large diifence in exection of of such similar sport. Telemarkers make fun or Randoniers (sp?), Snowboarders make fun of skiers, Skiers make fun of snowlerbladers, etc. But the love's still there. Especially after seeing what Jeremy Jones can do in the park, or watching a Terje Hekinson (Hockinsin... sp?) segment.

Well, let me tell you a story. It was waaay back in the raunchy days of society (the early 1970's) when this whole rivalry between skiers and snowboarders erupted. One day, Skier X was walking down the street in his one piece. That old Burton founder was watching afar, waiting for some sexay ladies (he was wearing a disco suit by the way). Well needless to day, Skier X got all the chix and Burton guy got none. Soon, babies were formed creating a sort of mass ski army that invaded the slopes (later known as NS Army, and all its other subsidaries like the Line Royal Army, and whatever 4rnt has going on). Burton man got angry and decided to do something. With some sugar and spice, and everything nice, he created the Grenade forces. But he accidently added, CHEMICAL X. Ironic that Skier X was part Chemical X. But anyway, they started to hide in spider holes that were sponsored by Spider and this created a rift so big not even Glenn Plake could bridge it with his oh so big hair. And now we come to the present, November 2, 2004. We have to live with the pasts mistakes and try to mend them now. We can only do this if we stop the spread of tubing.

It's kinda a catch 22. People who don't really know either sport assume snowboarding is so much core and 'cooler'. So technically skiers are more core, but only in small circles.

haha, this kid is getting pissed. heres the deal. out of all the kids on twintips, its more likly that a higher percentage will be good, cause skiing isnt really veiwed as being 'hip'. so tons of people snowboard, and the percentage of people who are any good is much lower. but its really just an inside joke, casue there skinig and snowboarding are the same damn thing. just like being left or right handed. we are all cool witheverybod, unless you are a dick. and you dont have to have a snowboard (or skis) on to be a dick.

i think that out east there is so much more hate for snowbaorders, because they are really gay, and cocky. But out west they are cool with skiiers and prop them and are a lot better then the skiiers out in the east

personally, it's not what they've got strapped on their feet and/or hands, it's what they're like. I've got some real snowboarding friends that i ride with. They're just as stolked to see a skier do a col thing, as we are seeing a sweet snowboarding move. Just if the person (personality wise) is a fuckwhit, then they are. Most of the ski industry are fuckwhits. you get used to them pretty fast.
