pencils are overrated. i think everybody should have to write in pen. they're so much more neat, and if you fuck up, scribble that shit out or start over.

sharpening pencils, lead breaking off, smudging on your paper, eraser marks, thin dark writing gradually fading and getting fat as the tip starts to round off.. forget it. grab your ass a pen or gtfo.

dude, there's nothing neater than writing with a fine tipped black pen. you just need to get a good one. it feels nice and it presses on the paper, it's consistent, and it wont smudge.

granted your handwriting is pretty as fuck.

guess im just used to writing in pen since most formal workplace documents require it. i could never go back to pencil, now. even doing math, i just put a box around shit i fucked up and write "omit", or draw lines and arrows around.

Have used everything, from Montblanc to Caran d'Ache and from Lamy to Rotring.
No nib is fine enough for me, only thing hat was fine enough was a dip pen but that is inconvenient as hell.
