Armada halo all-mtn?
I just got the Last years armada halos in 182. I wanted a ski that's good for park since my local hill is really small but has a good park. But every year I go atleast 2 weeks to the alps or northern Sweden (I live in Stockholm) So I still wanted a do-it-all ski that could provide some float in the few pow days we get every year. I got the Halos because of the rocker profile and the playfullness. I just wanted to check if anyone here has any experience with the skis and can tell me how they work out in the pow and backcountry.
Sorry for spelling, I'm on my phone. Peace out!
Hey, i also bought them for the same reasons and i can say that they
kill the park, really palyfull and fun to ski (mounted at -2.5). About the pow i have
tested them on 30cm snow and they do very good (I also have the bentchetlers and i can say halos float very well). About backcountry not so sure but you won't find any problems. Hope this helped.
Awesome! Thanks for rply, mounted mine -2 from center so they will most likely work fine for the "powder" we get here :)
I demo'd these skis and they were super fun. Heres what I thought: I had never had a ski with the early rise on them in the tip and tail. This made them a ton a fun when it came to carving and buttering. They are also a little less still than the alpha. I would also recommend that anyone else looking to get them should size up and get a little longer of a ski than normal due to the fact that not as much of the ski is touching the ground with the early rise. Overall, the quality is great, and they make a really nice in-between ski
Thank you guys for great answers, now I'm ready to go out and hit some snow!
