My friend just opened a pizza place in Boulder

You should check it out. It's called Boss Lady Pizza. The girl who started it is super awesome, and their pizza's are going to be amazing.

Mac & Cheese
Philly
Chicken and Waffle
Steak Nacho
etc.

The address is 1129 13th Street in Boulder, right off the campus. Right next to the Jimmy John's.


If you happen to be from Wisconsin, she used to work at Ian's in Madison, and was inspired by them!

if there were any black ppl in boulder..

interesting concept, ill check it out for sure. but i dont think its gonna do that well unless she changes her hours. needs to be open till 2am to compete with the already crowded drunchy pizza market on the hill with cosmos, papa romanos, and abo's already.

also on a semi related note. wtf is up with "the corner," $8 tiny sandwiches. even del taco was better than that shit.

this but you cant get too weird with pizza and if this place is pricey it will never work. pricey places belong on pearl cheap and cheerful belongs on the hill.

Boulder's restaurant scene in general is so lackluster. theres a handful of places that are still solid (frasca, black cat, et al) and the rest is just getting more and more touristy and generic.

I'm really hyped for Old Major to open in february down in Denver though. An entirely pork-based restaurant concept?! yes please.

That looks awesome. I work at a pizza place on campus at Ohio State which has similar hours, which is awesome for employees, but they've also been open for 50 years, so there's always alumni on nostalgia trips

besides the point, I hope it does well

I hope it works out!

Menu looks solid, but I agree about staying open late and maybe start selling basic pizzas by the slice and have a slice of the day for cheap. That's what works here..
