I'm watching this show on the discovery center about preppers who are getting ready for the apocalypse.. are these people fucken insane or just being prepared?

I feel that they're spending way too much time worrying about some kind of apocalypse, when they could be living life to its fullest.
Although, if something were to happen, unless they're in a rural area, they would be overrun by panicking people.

Watching this stuff is kinda interesting there are people who are getting ready for every disaster you could think of I feel bad for the kids
