Anyone else ever / is addicted to caffeine? Me pesronally, I think im a little bit addicted. I drink ALOT of coffee and definitely find myself depending on it a few times a day to keep going.

I have a cup before school each day, but I wouldn't consider it an addiction. Just a routine, yet it's not like I am dependent on it.

I take caffeine pills. 400mg before workouts, and pop the occasional before study sessions. But I'm not addicted. I'm home on holidays now and it's been a week since over had caffeine and I feel no need to have any. I'm actually quite surprised people get addicted to caffeine, considering 400mg is about 2-3 cups of coffee. Almost seems more as if people are addicted to coffee and not the caffeine in it

I do think that is part of it. I said before actually drinking coffee is enjoyable for me, and this definitely contributes to the addictive factor. I don't just drink it to stay awake, but also because i generally enjoy the taste. I doubt I would be as "addicted" if I just took caffeine pills as well.

over the summer i would drink something we called "jet fuel" every day. it was a pint of espresso, a pint coffee, some milk, baileys,stoli vanilla, and chocolate syrup. it would make enough for 3 full solo cups, i would drink 2.

ya you could say im addicted to caffeine .
