One day one of the fellow ski instructors at my resort said he had some shrooms. I though, "Well, that sounds fun, and whats the worst that could happen?" I stuff the shrooms (which I later find out to be 5 grams worth) into a cheese burger and eat it in roughly 23 seconds. I feel nothing... until about an hour later.
Sounds start to become very crisp and clear, and my vision is suddenly inhanced with colors and small patterns. No big deal.
I turn on a mash up of kid cudi and dubstep (great trip music) and start to ski. Suddenly EVERYTHING has changed! I can feel every poor of my skin, every move I make and the very world around me has seemed to slow down. I cant help but feel the music playing in my ear as I ski down the slopes... the slopes, the groomed snow looks like a hay field caught in the Kansas wind.. swaying back and forth in half speed. So I follow the movements of the snow with my skis to the music.
I do this for 7 hours straight.... but it felt more like 2 days. I make run after run, riding the chair back up each time only to catch myself staring at the trees and the new found moving faces and shapes I now see in them. The day soon fades to night (luckily we have night skiing til 2 am) The reflacting lights on the snow changed the day to night into two totally different worlds under the influence of the mind openning drug. I know fee... like I can do anything in the world
sooo... I begin to hit jumps! I had no fear with my new found, self. As I hit each jump the time I spend in the air feels like a lifetime, I finally have time to perfect every single portion of my body to hit the lip perfectly and butter the landing so smoothly.
This.... my friends... is how I became the above average skier I am today.

This is all filmed under the influence of LSD, hence weird camera angles and general poor filming. Epic day skiing though, you just feel in the zone.
