Hey NS members reading this post, i don't know about you guys, but I personally liked the Jiberish hoodies/crew necks when the company was starting out. I noticed that people would spend outrageous $ for an aristocrat now. It seemed like people liked it when the hoodies actually had a pattern (instead of now) where all the hoodies have sayings on them. Or at least i like the mojave, aristocrat, MFG, Hatchman, etc. compared to (now) Brothers Blade, Bowery Billies,
or +k for your opinions

Exactly, that is why i think Jiberish should put some sick patterns on the hoodies so i could actually like what i'm wearing, instead of just wearing it for the name.

I myself find some of their new stuff alright. I also feel its getting kinda plain as well. I love the dripset, lohi is ehh... I mean the crazy color schemes is really nice. But I like the presentation when they are do in way to be out there but also be not too eccentric.

I agree. I don't even look at the look-book anymore (I don't even know if they still have them) because their shit's gotten boring. Now it's just a grey hoodie with some weird ass logo on it that in no way, shape, or form has anything to do with Jiberish.

Its probably because they dont want to alienate people that dont want to look like a skittle.

It is a lifestyle and fashion brand, they need to be able to sell more than a few 5xl hoodies to 14 year olds. Personally i like the direction they are heading. well made, well sourced clothing, rather than the circus costumes of a few years ago.

But the "skittle" look is what we identified with when it came to Jiberish. They made some seriously sick hoodies that I loved, but now they're just another over-priced, "swag" company that is bringing nothing new to the table. I want to go out to the hill wearing a fresh hoodie that sticks out. Besides, I'm not even about to pay $60 or so for a grey hoodie...

If you don't want to look like a skittle, then don't buy it, but I'm not saying that Jiberish should only make hoodies like the mojave, but at least have more than 1 or 2 hoodies in the whole winter collection (like how it was a couple years ago)

I have my Bagheera crew and that's all I need. The crazy stuff is why ppl started liking them. This new 'streetwear' fad does not appeal to me at all.

I always liked Jiberish because I thought it was really unique and stood out, but at the same time felt chill. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone, it's sorta hard to explain.

This thread is stupid. Jiberish is a company, their aim is to make money and some dope clothing. Their stuff is so much better now, way more streetwear. They aren't gonna make money off 100 or so 12-14 year old kids. If you want long colourful, gay looking clothing buy megaphone

Haters gon hate I guess. Personally i like the direction the brand is going. As I've gotten a bit older ive started appreciating more subtle pieces as opposed to the bright in-your-face items that everyone seems to love so much (jungle cat, mojave, red and purple ignant for example). They've become very streetwear orientated, which i really like.

Sorry for the double post but... what do they owe to you? Their clothing is an expression of their individual style and the type of stuff they want to wear. The true definition of selling out, is producing something other people want, not doing what you want. If Pete and the boys vision for the company is how it is now, then im sorry but your just gonna have to deal with it. It aint going back to how it used to be.

It has been mentioned time and time again. If you want an older look piece buy the zoom crew. If you want something that looks good on and off the hill most of the new items will fit that catagory.
