So...who's ski season hasn't really started yet?

I guess I'm luckier than some people on here, as I did get one day of skiing in at Killington over Thanksgiving break. And an early season rail jam.

But I go to school in Western NY... and there seems to be no hope coming through yet for an opening day.

Right when we thought we were a few days away... it gets to be 65 degrees.

And then one day it's 35, the next day it's 48 and raining. Seems like we can't win.

I NEED SKIING... I know the West Coast is going strong, I heard mountains in the Midwest are open, most mountains in the Northeast seem to be going well...

Who's in the same boat?

I live next to montreal, my home mountain was open for about 2 weeks but i didn't had my boots. I got them this week and it started raining, so pissed!

mtn opened for three days with three trails open a park set up then closed now its all straight grass up there all this rain and warm temps are ruining east coast lately

Got "snow" in my truck from the ice rink hauled two loads to my friends house. Got one 6 got rail setup and skied it for 2 hours. at least we got to put our skis on...

Ohio is still snowless. Mountains can't even make man-made snow. All the bases at the resorts are 0" right now.


There is no ski season in sight.

My mountain is 100% open and most of it has been open since before Thanksgiving and I've had 2 great pow days yesterday and today.


Can't be fucked to ski again till the next dump though will probably just chill out this weekend and hang around the casinos.


When I was home in Boston last week saw Blue Hills was completely bare. Sort of felt sorry for kids in the area who do high school skiing since I am sure they are on rollerblades and doing other dumb shit. Glad the only 2 years I did that once I stopped playing puck weren't like this.

ive done some touring and i skinned up into the resort and rode the lifts a few times but thats it.. still dont have my fucking pass, looks like im gunna have to take out a loan just to afford it this year.

I ski at a tiny ass ski resort called Snow Creek in upper Missouri. We have to make our own snow there with snow guns all season. The temps just arent cold enough to make snow around here yet. They were suppose to open on the 14th of December but now they are saying the 22nd... pretty soon they will say... next year folks, sorry.

fucking rain, but its supposed to hit 31 tonight so ill go then, sadly that snow turned into rain and my home set up melted through so i have to fix it, and i don't want to fix it.
