This is what i hear, every 4 years the packers and redskins square off the sunday before election. If the packers win, the republicans take office, if the skins win democrats do.

No, if the Redskins lose, the Incumbant loses. If the Redskins win, the Challenger wins. If the Incumbant is out anyways, then a win means a republican is elected, if they lose then a democrat. Todays loss means that John Kerry will win in keeping with the 70 year streak.
