Is the greatest thing ever. I'm always so stoked to go rip up some groomers with him every year.
Much to my disappointment, he can't find anyone to work the holidays this year so he has to run everything himself, meaning no skiing with him.
I'm bummed :(

I love riding with my dad. He gets stoked on seeing my skiing, and tries new shit all the time. Unfortunately mine won't be skiing with me this year either. He doesn't have time to come out west to visit this year.

Riding with my dad is pretty fun, his knees are getting messed up though so he doesn't really leave groomed trails at all. He can easily keep up with me when I'm on groomed trails though, and it's nice to have someone to talk to (I don't have any friends who ski)

never forget the time me and my dad were taking lessons, I'm like 8, he's like 48, and the instructor goes "fletcher, come here, you're moving to a more advanced group." and he kind of steps out and the instructors like "no, not you, your son." My ultimate moment of triumph

An indelible mark on the memory of my childhood. He's the one who taught me how to ski, and was always super happy with my improvement. Didn't get to ski with him once last season, we'll have to see about this year. Either way its always great because it brings up all kinds of memories and allows for the creation of new ones.

my dad is fat and hasnt skied for like 10 years. my mom skis pretty good for being 65.

Always love skiing with my dad.
His technique is pretty bad but he is always willing to go where ever i want to go and has no fear in terrain that is probably a little out of his league.

Love skiing with mom and dad, they can ski pretty well and its always fun when mom gets cold and goes inside, pops try's to play keep up with my brother and I and we end up just messing with him instead. He skied all the time back in the day, then didnt ski for 18 years until my brother and I got interested in it

Most of my weekend ski days are with my dad. He rips. He lost 25 pounds in the off-season and has been hitting the gym a lot more recently too so I'm pretty excited to see how his skiing will progress. He said he might even try to hit a few more jumps this year. He lapped through the park with me a few times last year but knuckled pretty hard on a slow day and didn't do anything park related for the rest of the season haha.

my dad got me into skiing as soon as i could walk, and ill always be grateful to him for that. now when im home from school me and my brother both join his beer league racing team every monday night which kicks ass. i can get pretty sick of my dad sometimes, but im always down to go shred it up with him.

i love it to. my dad didn't get a single day in last season other than on our week long trip out west, but i hope to ski with him a little this season.

and uncles. nobody mentioned uncles. im gonna ski with mine for the first time this season, pretty stoked

Skiing with my uncle would be hell. He rages and is the most competitive person. He would turn carving into a competition, and if I were to crush him in that, he'd try to find a reason for why he should have won. That and he'd punch the lifties here.

My parents were never really big skiers (though they sure raised one). So one of my favorites is skiing with my buddy's family. They're generous enough to invite on their annual trip so one of our highlights is taking a couple runs with his grandfather every day.

85 YEARS OLD, still books it on the groomers. Though he still thinks the whole skiing switch thing is odd.

almost every one in my family skis when i actually have the chance to ski with my mom sister and dad it beats ANY day with my friends. i mean hell they are the ones who made me who i am.

I like to take some groomer laps with my dad sometimes... used to more before I started driving myself up. I'm stoked that my parents taught me to ski super young and it always kinda brings back memories of when my brother and I were younger.

skiing with my dad is fun, but annoying, loves stopping for a beer though haha, i used to get him to record me with my gopro, but it would be pointless as he would do some retarded commentary then start singing when i fell over, so frustrating.

Skiing is the ultimate Father-son bonding opportunity. My dad took me out to Whistler in April and it was so fun exploring the mountain with him. There was also a hilarious incident up on the peak when there was a mogul field, and he tried to go down. He caught an edge and went sliding on his stomach for 500 feet. He was completely fine and it was the funniest thing I had ever seen.

My dad is still a better skier than me. Apparently he used to be able to do backflips and 3s back in the 70s, now he doesn't like to leave the ground but can get down anything and fast.

He just needs to figure out that he's a bit more fragile than when he was 20 and stop injuring himself. In the past few years he has broken ribs a couple of times, torn his ACL and shattered his shoulder.

my dad shreds so hard get easy 60+ days a year inbounds and does a lot of touring. I love skiing with him because he knows a lot of good spots that I don't and he buys me lunch

my dad used to ski much faster and rip all around the mountain but had a knee injury about 6 years ago and just plays it safe ever since (mostly blue runs and some red runs+not going off piste)...
last year i had a whole week skiing with him..definitely fun..he got stoked on my skiing and on getting a little bit closer to the skiing level he had before his injury..
best father-son time is on snow :)

My dad grew up skiing Revelstoke. When I would go with him when I was younger he'd tell me not to panic and he'd meet me in a minute, only to dump off into the trees and I'd see him ripping back out onto the trail a few minutes later. He's pretty much the inspiration for my style.

My dad is a really really good skier, he takes it easy nowadays though cause he's getting on a bit.. Haven't skied with him in ages but we're going on holiday to Morzine in January so that'll be nice.

My dad has got a whiplash and knee problems and he always stayed on the groomers till last year. I talked him into buying powskis and he actually started going switch and he spent most of the time outside the groomers. It´s kind of awsome

My mom rips harder than my dad for sure.  Always has, always will.  She broke her hip in a XC Equestrian fall and was back on skis 8 months later and she's almost 60.  And I wonder sometimes where I get my addiction to adrenaline and pain tolerance...

i love skiing with my old man. he charges hard with me every weekend, and even films my brother and i in the park.

He took up Telemark skiing three years ago, and he's pretty good at it. We rip groomers switch, and switch tele turns look hella hard.

My dad skis with my younger sister, so I only get to ski with him a few days out of the year. My favorite thing is to go for first tracks on groomers on a blue bird with him, when it is like -20.

my dad used to love skiing and tore shit up before I was born but he fucked up his knee in a motorcycle accident shortly after I was born so he doesnt now and just hates the cold, he says hes moving to California first chance he gets lol
