Does anyone else do this or are I just weird?

This radio show does a segment weekly where they say something they think they only do in hopes that people call in and say they do too. Basically just saying something that you do that's weird and see if other people do it too.

I am curious to see what NS thinks they do that nobody else does. I'll start, I have to put my right shoe on first. Can't remember the last time I put the left one on before the right one.

Recently if I'm bored I'll just try and imagine the scariest person/thing I can in my head. It's quite entertaining taking a demon/witch/evil girl and changing their face/body/surroundings around to get it looking nastier. Last weekend me and some freinds did shrooms. They were playing videogames and then turned them off so the tv was static. I just imagined the ring girl climbing out of the tv and coming up to me. It was fun.

i poop naked if im not in a public bathroom, if i turn right on a longboard i lean into it but to the left i drift, i alwyase have to have a weapon in sight to defend my self weather its a knife or a peace of wood i could use as a club idk why, my favorite color is grey, i dont like nike.

i use to take naps in the shower, but ill still stare at my bathroom wall for like 10minutes before i get in the shower, in the winter it gets longer, its nice and relaxing in the steamy goodness

I had a bathtub/shower so I used to just sit down with the water coming down on me and lean back and fall asleep. My mom would flip out when she was trying to get me to go to school because I would waste so much water and be late.

like by instinct i drift on sharp (90 degrees+) turns to the left, like if im on someones board that i cant slide on its kinda sketchy for me to take lefts because i dont get the full lean in. i cant explain it, i would think it would be harder but left turns i feel like im gona get thrown off my board

Every single thing on this list I do besides not use shampoo.


I always have two motor magnets (both half-moon so the can create a circle) on me and whenever I'm nervous or really bored I take them out and fiddle with them.

I always play music in my head, like a personal radio thing. I can choose a song that I wouldn't mind hearing and just loop the parts that I know.

Always put any article of clothing/sports gear left side first.

That's all I can think of now, most of the stuff I do as a habit just comes sub-conciously now.

I always sleep with a fan on regardless of the temperature or time of year.

When I turn my car off the climate controls always have to be in a certain position.

I always set 2 alarms, even on the weekend.

Before I leave the house, I always look at myself in the mirror and make sure I don't have any buggers in my nose.

I always have to have gum on me.

Any sort of break in the scenery, be it a telephone pole, a crack in the curb, whatever, I'll tap my finger or assign some sort of noise to it in my mind. Sometimes I'll try to match those taps/noises with the beat of a song I'm listening to or try to make my own beat with them. Pretty sure no one else does that.

No, but I used to play mario on the scenery. I always hated when there was nothing and the imaginary mario was doing an unrealistically long jump.

this. there's something about the noise and the air movement that's incredibly soothing. I also constantly think about how I'm placing my feet when I walk. They have to be straight. Oh and whenever I talk in class I always swipe my hair back behind my right ear when I'm finished. Nervous habit I'm trying to stop.

after a couple weeks the grease goes away, but i dont mind it anyway because my hair is so damn thick that it looks better when its a little greasy.

by drift do you mean slide? how is that weird? you're taking a sharp turn so it only makes sense for the board to break traction and slide a bit. i do the same thing on heelside turns in general. just relax and it makes turns more fun. i wish i could drift more easily on toesides

I always sleep on my right side, with a pillow rested on the left side of my face, every night. If I don't have an extra pillow handy (at a friends house, at cousins, etc.) I cover my head completely with my blanket. Every day, in the shower, it's shampoo, soap, shave. Also, I try to make beats with my teeth, like clicking them together and such. I can also make a clicking noise in my nose as well, and it can be quite audible at times. My last and strangest quirk, is that sometimes, when I'm bored, I think of words and spell them out in my head, and see if they have an odd or even amount of letters. If the words have an odd amount, it gives me anxiety, and I have to think of another word randomly that has an even amount to release my anxiousness. Strange, I know.

BUT ALSO I USUALLY ONLY DO SHARP TURNS MORE THEAN 70 DEGREES IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION THAN THE TURN ITSELF, IE. A TURN TO THE LEFT RENDERS A RIGHT SPIN AND MOVEMENT LEFT TO GET THE TURN TO COME AROUND.

I kinda do the same thing.

On car rides (before I drove) I'd imagine lines coming out of every breaking in the road, like a driveway, side walk, or an intersection. And immediately after crossing it I'd either blink, click my teeth, breath, or all 3, but never while passing through.

And whenever I see something like a pencil, pen, ruler, or anything being using, I imagine that the end is like a laser or shoots a projectile, so I try and not be aligned with them.

I'm the exact same way -- sometimes I program it for an even time b/c I know I'll want to heat it up again and have the total be an odd number.

Holy shit....

I do exactly the same thing! Its so bad sometimes I forget where I'm walking to or what I was talking about.


Also I used to have to spell out every word in my head that I just said out loud. Glad that one ended..

Every time I clear my throat, I do a little "hhmm mmmhhh" afterwards

I always smell my fingers when I am thinking, especially when I'm typing... (sniffff)

I drive a manual, every time I put it in neutral, I have to wiggle the shifter in a specific pattern.

I always have a feature in my mouth that I run my tongue over constantly. Especially after visiting the dentist..

Everytime a car with an out headlight drives by i hit the ceiling. its more a game i play with buddies, pop-eye we call it.

i do this weird thing with my eye ducts when they get too dry, seems like i got super dry eye ducts for some reason.

when flying i alllwaaaayyys eat a brownie/cookie or two as a sleeping aid.

same ski routine for years, wake up, check forecast/report, shower, make lunch, walk dog, make tea, hop in car and go shred powww

I always put my right ski on first. Yes I actually make sure the graphic is correct for the left and right ski. All volumes on any sterio, tv or anything else must be an odd number

Oh lets see. Just to name a few.

I do not eat the back edge of certain foods. Hamburgers, carrots, some other sandwiches, just whatever doesn't feel right. Yes I know hamburgers are circular, but as you're eating them you come to an edge, and I never eat the back one. Carrots I never eat the thickest end. Yada Yada.

When I pour a fountain soda. I get a little ice. I must shake the ice before I dispense soda. I will not drink the soda if I dont shake the ice first, it feels wrong.

My books need to be stacked with all 1 edge matching.

Lot of other things too.

I kinda do this. Ususally i set the shower off and just sit on the toilet or on the ground for 5 or so minutes and just relax in the steam. Also i love the sound of the shower running.

sometimes when i open my mouth a thin stream or. beam of water shoots out of my mouth. Think it's called gleeking. Happens especially after eating sour candy then yawning.

This thread makes me feel so much better

When I'm serving in tennis, I have to bounce the ball in multiples of 3 before I serve, can't serve if I don't

I also believe that the timeline for good and bad days starts after work at about 5pm and runs till 5pm the next day, so if I have a good night I know I'll have a good day the next day and code versa

I can't sit in open spaces or high traffic areas at resturants. Doesn't matter how good the food is if the table is bad im sketchy, can't hold a conversation and will have a bad time

I always wash my body in the same order and pattern in the shower. It bothers me if I don't

When I'm skiing I always have a full conversation with myself, or I sing popular songs and translate them into french and sing them in my brain.

When I wake up in the morning, I pretty much can't get out of bed until I have checked facebook, twitter, tumblr, ns, and my phone. God that makes me sound so social-network dependent.

Cold side of the pillow is probably pretty common, but I also fold the corners of pillows to make a pointy somewhat sharp and end rub the tip of my index finger over the point.
