A lot more change for Dagmar again this year for the upcoming season! As of recently we have expanded to four parks at the resort and we have a park specific chair, (meaning people with rentals and no helmets are allowed on the lift at all). The two newer parks(turkey shoot and hawks hurst) will be the smaller ones, basic features for riders interested in freestyle riding.

The two parks from last year are still there with changes being done alot of dirt has been moved around the parks.

-The big park jump line will be a 4 jump line this year
-The impound has been widened and the jumpline in it has had dirt added to it
-Airbag will be open right away as soon as there is enough snow for the mound
-we got more new features this year including a DFD rail, Two stair sets, a closeout stair set, a massive water tank, a long fat tube goal post style and a fat horizontal (elbow) kink rail

Yea you've got a point. You can get way more hits in at Dagmar per day. I was actually super excited to ride there when it opened because I liked the concept of top to bottom features, and even thought that I might end up riding at Dagmar more than louis this year... but after a full day, it was clear to me which hill was superior.

 It just doesn't have the vertical... Like, every one of my runs was under 30 seconds long. I don't really like to stop and wait before features. Doing that is killer for speed too, if you mess up a trick you can't get speed for anything. Also just because the features are top to bottom doesn't mean they are going to be good. I mean, personally, I found there was only one rail line that was decently sized and trickable. About a third of the features were just plain not fun. There's only so much you can do with such a small area.

Louis has decent jumps and a really long and varied run. Everything is big and trickable. You've also got half a run of downhill, which is awesome for practicing riding switch, making little jumps, tranny finding, etc. Dagmar is just the same rail line all day.

I don't really know how else to explain it, but personally after riding a full day at both hills, I can confidently say that MSLM is the way to go for me. I realize this is ridiculous and long winded, but I hope some of you can benefit from this post when choosing where to ski.

Went to dagmar for the first time (ever) saturday.  Great experience, there was pretty much no line up, lots of good features.  Will definitely go again, espicially with the lift ticket price / proximity of an hour.

I want to give BIG UPS to the Dagmar Park crew this year! I have been riding Dag for about 14 years now (man I feel old) and this is by the far the best I have ever seen it. Not a knock on previous Park Crews, but the amount of resources and passion that the club now has for the park is simply amazing. Makes me wish when I was younger, I had a set up as clean as this. Mark my words, if Dagmar continues this progression, someone is going to come out of this Park, whether it be a skier or snowboarder!

Went there for the first time ever this year (surprise) during early season, was very impressed by what was setup and how it was maintained.  I haven't been since holidays so I'm excited to see what they have added this weekend.
