Police in Kingston, Ont., have charged a man who was allegedly telling children Santa Claus did not exist during the city’s annual Santa Claus parade.
Police say a 24-year-old man was arrested Sunday at about 6 p.m. ET after a parade-goer told police he was walking up Princess Street telling children his beliefs about Santa.
The man, whose hair was formed to look like horns, was found minutes later and arrested.
He faces charges of causing a disturbance by being drunk, breaching probation and public intoxication. The man stayed in jail overnight and appeared in court Monday.
