Hey NS looking for advice on building some muscle.
A little background:
I'm 21, very tall and skinny. I've never been a fan of gyms, in fact, I couldn't ever see myself in one and I'm downright terrified of lifting weights in one. I grew up doing farmwork, and am more of a fan of physical labor to keep in shape than "working out." However, being at college, I find myself sitting around a lot, eating less food from being broke (I lost like 15lbs. from the height of being fit a few years back), and really not much working out besides walking up hills all day to get to class. I'm looking to add some muscle to my upper body and need some help for workouts I can do at the apartmento.
Has anyone ever tried something like this?
Now, I'm very motivated when it comes to putting my mind to something. With a little help from my friend Henry Rollins (see below), plus some push ups, do you think it would be possible to gain a few pounds of muscle in a few months? Any advice would be very helpful since I'm completely new to this.
