Ski Boots

Why do a lot of people seem obsessed with Full TIlt Ski boots? And whats the difference with say Full Tilts and a Nordica Ski boot? I'm perfectly happy with my current boots they fit great, but is it just me or whats up with everybody wanting Ful Tilts.

Ah the wise one sees through the smoke and mirrors of Full Tilt. When it comes down to it what matters is that your boots fit well and are comfortable.

I bought a pair of Full Tilts Konflicts a few weeks ago brand new for like 300 bucks. The 2013 ones but I tried them on and they are so much better than any boot I've ever tried on. I have however tried other boots and they are almost or just as good so I guess it's just what you like.

I wear salomon ski boots but I tried on a pair of full tilt booters and they were really warm,easy to do up,super comfy and they were really light.

Because half the people on this site believe if you have full tilts and some generic skis you will be the best skier on the hill

This, I do own Full Tilts but that's because they were the most comfortable and warmest boots I had tried on as compared to the other boots I had been trying before I bought them.

Also it's nice that you can change out the tongues on FTs so you can have more or less flex in your boots, depending on what skiing you're doing.

The flex is perfect, they are very comfortable, every piece is replaceable so they last forever, and they come stock with intuition liners.

full tilts have the three piece shell design that raichle had. I have had a pair for about 3 years now and i love them . fully moldable intuition liner and a tried and true design makes them money. Problem ive heard is that their a skinny boot. You can change out the tongues and everything to change the flex. It all depends on the fit and what skiing your doing.

Yeah, i think its the designs and just the fashion at the moment, quite a lot of pros use them so i guess people want to ski like the pros, i personally ride with spk 100's and love them.

Its full tilts marketing they sponsor all of the the well known skiers like tom wallisch, mike hornbeck the travelling circus crew, seth morrison and henrik harlaut just to name a couple so everyone thinks if they get the newest tom wallisch boot they will ski like him. I am not saying they are bad or anything infact some of the technologies look quite good like easy in and out entry but its ultimately if the boot fits your foot or not.

I need new boots. And I gotta say I want Full Tilts. Pros don't effect my opinion. But they are light, much easier to get on and off, changeable tongues are legit, and they were much more comfy from the stock pair i tried on, than anything I've ever used. Can't imagine the feel once they are properly fitted, etc. But, they aren't right for everyone. Go with what fits brotha!

Full tilts 3 piece design has been around for 30 years, it's 30 year old tech. If they fit well, then get them, but in general, there are many better boots out there

nordica and dalbello also have 3 piece designs .....

the real fulltilt secret however lies in the plastic itself, it's mixed with a secret anti gravity compound that allows for extreme afterbang an futurespins ....
a feature that other boots do not have (yet)

mainly because their fairly well priced, and they offer alot of bang for the buck. they're lightweight, with a very customizable design. also you can interchange the parts and get upgrades off their website such as replacement heel pieces, different flex tongues, and metal buckles or replacement nylon buckles
