that i pretty much enjoy every genre of music out there
from beethoven to eminem (skip flocka) to sum 41 and blink landing on Asking Alexandria or any other screamo shit?
anybody else like that
or you guys all to jah'ed up?
im pretty much the same way. i hate when people think a song is gay just because its not "rock" or "rap". i could be listening to kenny chesney and wutang one minute and dubstep and classic rock the next
I dont know, cuz i dont know, cuz i dont know... you know?
^ i geuss i did genarlize, but , its just cause i forgot shit, blues jazz, thats where rock comes from, roll in rocknroll
and reggae and all, i dont have it on my ipod, but when its on, im into it and luv it.
i dont know
dont know what im tryna say
posting too much
yeah i'm the same way. listen to everything pretty much.
top 3 genres are:
and those are all pretty different. idk, i think most people have tastes like that
"I'd really like to get my name out so I can piss on 13 year old girls and get away with it, do a shit load of heroin, autograph boobs without it being harassment and then finally blow my brains out when the fame gets to me."
"i was going to post something demeaning and funny about the op, but then i saw that TechnoPotamus did so now i find it unnecessary."
"Professor Potamus has a PhD in Newschoolers."
Jesus, that locust video has some amazing drumming.
OP, how about this?
That isn't really crazy at all, but if you really aren't into that, you are eliminating a huge portion of metal you don't like. And I'm not even posting stuff like Psyopus (which I personally don't like).
aw yeah. If you have the chance, go see them live. It isn't so much their stage presence (which is almost non-existent) but the music has so much atmosphere. Robby (their guitarist) always looks sooo blazed.
And just out of curiosity, is your username reference to the Faceless?
a lot of people, including me, like music in general. however, country sounds like shit. i've had to listen to it all my life, what with growing up in calgary, and it never has and never will grow on me.
i listened to contortionist a few days ago and i didn't like them. someone on youtube was saying they're more prog or crazier than btbam and i was like wat. i love prog metal in general, primarily between the buried and me, protest the hero, and human abstract
They are amazing, but definitely not anywhere near as prog as BTBAM. Listen to the exoplanet album; it is their best work by far. For example, listen from 2:19 of the song I posted - they really add in a lot of atmospheric/ambient parts. Also, that is one of the best build ups I have ever heard.
There are very few artists these days who even come close to what BTBAM is doing though. The song writing just blows my mind.
yeah I actually just saw them 2 weeks ago. unfortunately the sound guys from the venue were fucking up the whole show and there was tons of feedback and the levels were shitty. it pissed off the band, and a lot of people left early. still worth going out for though. they were with Intervals too and they killed it.
and I did get my name from the faceless album haha.
