just got my wisdom teeth out and im really bored. just watched the last airbender on netflix and it was sick, but i couldn't tell you anything that happened.....

so what should i do NS?

and btw, my mom's being dumb and is on;y giving me the minimum amount of pills. any ideas on how to get more?

I brOke my wrist two days ago I'm on Vicodin and its nice, I can't use my right hand tho, so no video games. I watched ugly Betty for three hours, then attempted to beat it, took so long lefty. Dreamed a mix of hunger games and halo.

In the hospitOl tho I was on morphine and fentanyl and I watched adventure time, and it was sweeeeeeet, made so mch sense.

your fine man. im just speaking from experience. ive had some bad luck with injuries and health issues these past years and my docs stuck me on so many opiates itll take me years to fully get off them. if you just had a surgery take the med s as directed if you need em, then when you feeling better get rid of the rest, trust me its not a fun path to go on. heres a little info on me to give you some insight on how painkillers affected me. in spring 2007 i tore acl, mcl, and tore my hamstring 12 in. off my pelvis. then got a brain injury downhill mountain biking with hemorrhaging and all and was in the er etc. then i got sick with an auto immune disorder that is genetic , and is living fucking hell. and thru this my docts put me on 100 mcg of fentenyl ( strongest pain killer in america and the highest dose ) 10 norco 10 /325 tabs a day, and a bunch of other meds to help me deal with the pain. now ive since cut back on fentenyl 75 mcg all cold turkey no help, and now am on 25 mcg and cant go any lower without going to rehab. its sucks cause i am forced to take these meds to live a somewhat "normal" life. but man, if you dont have to, get off ur pain meds soon as you can. 4 years on this medication and ive dropped form 6 foot 1 185 pounds, to 109 pounds ( what i weighed in 5th grade and im 23 ) i am now getting off of them, or trying and will proly go to rehab soon, not cause im an addict, but because my body built up such a huge tolerance its the only way i can dose down / quit without suffering in the er with no help. but ya get better, take some aleve and only take that shit for as long as you need, not as long as you want . good luck budy.

honestly if you got through by sucking up anyways you probably didn't need the pain meds. Honestly that shit is incredibly addicting. You take it to the point that you're use to not having any pain and you rely on it. You're mom was honestly looking out for you and coming from experience, if you really need pain medication you'll know it.


Granted that just my opinion.

op im in your exact position. what do you have? i have 2 Demerols, and a ton of oxycodone. I took one demerol and one oxy earlier, and fell asleep for like hours. now im normal again, so i took another oxy. how much can/should i take for fun? (btw they are labelled oxycodone, but they are basically generic percocet).

I'm on Vicodin 36-05. It just makes my body numb, my mind a little delirious, and makes me nauseous. I haven't taken any more than recommended so I can't help you there. I wouldn't recommend taking any more than prescribed tho.

i also have promethazine so i take that to counteract nausea. and im on percocet which is 5/325 (glorified tylenol) so im just taking another percocet, and Demerol before bed

have you ever thought about going the methadone route? doctors can legitimately prescribe it for pain, so you don't have to do the whole clinic thing. and since it's got a longer half life, it makes the tapering MUCH easier than it is withe fentanyl.there's a reson they use it to help kick heroin. but yeah, fent is like the crack of opiates....absolutely amazing, but it wears off quick as fuck. i'm sure i don't have to tell you that though.

good luck on your detox, dude. i've been through it many times. its one of the most miserable experiences on the planet.

thankyou man , very kind of you, nice to get a decent response for once on here . and i wish i could go the methadone route. unfortunately my body cant tollerate methadone ? its wierd cause it tollerates fentenyl and norco and oxys, but im sure ill try again, thanks cheers

when i got my wisdom teeth removed i had to dogsit for a week at house that i had never been to before and i didnt have a car at the time so all i did for the whole week was watch tv and go on the computer. and i had two dry sockets and all they gave me was hydrocodone which didn't work...ibuprofen worked better. it was literally the worst week of my life.

i don't know, i just hit 24 hours after, and when i woke up from the first night it was the most pain id had since i first woke up from surgery. im also pretty big so i think its having less of an affect on me

oh wow that sucks. You must have gotten it bad cuz I haven't even had to take anything besides ibuprofen to keep the swelling down since yesterday afternoon. When I woke up it didn't even hurt too. I think I remember my doctor saying that this would happen cuz I'm very lean. That might explain why you got it worse too.

Dude fuck pain meds. I've had 5 surgeries, and 3 of them were in a 2 month period. During that 2 months I was on Vicoden pretty much the whole time, because these were very serious surgeries, and I now have 17 screws, 2 plates, 2 pins, and 3 wires in my arm. But anyways, when I was done having to take them, it was so hard weening off of them. I just felt like ass when I wasn't taking them and it made it really hard to ween off. Plus they make you not poop, at one point I didn't poop for 14 days and I had to get an enema, which was no fun. Moral here is don't get too reliant on pk's. They suck a dick.

holy shit. I took a dump today and it was all droplets so I think that constipation might be building up... I didn't take any pills today though so I'm looking forward to dropping a nice deuce tomorrow. Considering everything I've eaten though I can't imagine it'll be too dense. Smoothies, applesauce, and scrambled eggs can only solidify so much.
