its not bent you just have to take the bindings apart and you can pop it back in place. to do this go on gear talk and click on the ski and binding maintenance sticky thread and watch the bending fks brakes video which will show you how to take the binding apart once you can do that you will how to fix the problem by pushing the tab down which is spring loaded and pop it all back in place but be careful because other parts might will fall out which is not shown in the video so if they do remember which way they go.
It's not relevant to the brakes at all. And it does look kinda bent, but it's not. It might not stay in the groove until it's mounted (the reason it pops out is because that plastic plate with the white piece is able to bend when unmounted, when mounted it's held in place by the ski so everything stays put). They should be fine, when you take them to the shop for mounting they can confim this, they won't mount them if they're not safe.
i know its not related to the brakes no shit that video just shows you how to take the binding apart once its apart you can push the spring loaded tab out and put the bit you think is bent back in place then pop the tab up over. I know this because it happened to me.
There isn't any kind of downward force to keep the plate from popping up above the forward pressure indicator. Once they are mounted there will be a lot, and it won't pop up above the forward pressure indicator.
