I'm all for criticizing Obama cause he hasn't done enough but let's be realistic: He was blocked by GOP opposition at almost every turn. He didn't have the house and a filibuster proof senate for 2 years, he had them for 4 months, and at every other moment the GOP has decided to use harden, and it's been super effective.

@anathema Taxes will eventually have to drastically rise which will affect my mommy and daddy's spending. When my daddy lost his job 2 years ago it fucking sucked. I don't want that to keep happening to people, because frankly, Obama's plans have not and won't be good for job growth. Anyway, I'll be living on my own very soon so those taxes will be on me. Your viewpoint is what's wrong with America. So no, big homie, life won't always be good, but it certainly could be better.

even if Obama had lost last night, I would have the maturity to say, "Ok, while I did not vote for Romney, I hope he proves me wrong and does a great job". I wouldn't say, "OMG HE'S AN IDIOT WE'RE ALL FUCKED OMG I'M LEAVING THE COUNTRY" like I've seen countless republican supporters do.

Grow the fuck up. The election is over, put your fucking foot in your mouth and carry on with your lives. You weren't fucked the last 4 years, there's no need to carry on and make a damn scene like the world is ending now that Obama has been re-elected.

If I can get a job out of college and support my future family and live happily I honestly don't care who the president is. If Obama fixes the economy, which I hope he does, good for everyone. If the next four years is like the last, well I won't be too happy.

I think more like 3. The change to the tax rates in 2013 should make a dent. You have to realize that Obama has already cut the deficit by a few hundred billion. He won't eliminate it - that's a huge pipe dream - but it should keep going down, particularly as the US transitions out of Afghanistan and as tax revenue goes up.

Impossible to predict this sort of thing but I think a best guess would put the average deficit at something like 750 billion over the next 4 years.
