i think i have 5050ed every rail at my mountain that is a bar and some larger tubes. As far as standard single barrels go though yeah thats tough, almost had a dfd single barrel once but slipped out and got a booboo.

im jealous of their comfy boots and sometimes hiking looks easier for them......... but other than that. never.
if you break up with her your gona be straight boned. shit'll become weird as a shit. it'll be shitty. were not talking a conveniently awesomely lucky no whisper shit. but a diareah of a situation shitty shit shit. with carelessly forgotten-to-replace toilet paper afterwards. whilst having a broken sink. and its your birthday party and everyone will see you. and de-friend you. and then you will be forever known as the 'shit himself kid'. -thaloot
sometimes how easy it is to put teir bindings on.. atleast when a huge ice or snow chunk forms on the bottom of your boot and you have to get it off before your boot will go into your ski. sucks when your hiking.. then you look like a retard balancing on on foot hitting your boot with your pole..
it is actually pretty fun to snowboard in pow i must admit. Ive never surfed before but id imagine the two are pretty similar. Not something id ever actually get into, id way rather be on some praxis protests, but i can see why people like it.
I am not aware of these "power skis" you speak of, and thank you for simply repeating what I just posted right above this post. The thread is about if you envy snowboarders, and you stating that you envy them on powder days implies that you think it is more fun. If they are equally fun then you just shouldn't have posted it.

I used to snowboard until I switched to skiing a couple of years ago, I don't really envy them though. I always hated getting stopped on a flat spot and having to either jump around to get moving and get all sweaty or having to skate it, on skis you can just push yourself. It's also really nice getting off the lift and being able to just go, instead of having to strap in. Both have pros and cons, and both are fun, its just what you like enjoy doing more.
Not really, boarding just doesn't look as smooth/natural/free feeling. It looks constricting to me. Although I guess you could say its my second favourite sport, b/c if for some reason all of a sudden freeskiing ceased to be an activity we could do, I would get right on a board and spend as much time on it as I would on my skis.
Try coming to the midwest, were rails are made of rust and tetinus, run ins are about as wide as my wrist, and the landings look like the first 15 minutes of Saving Private Ryan
