i'd probably stick it out at the main resort during the day. if you're like 95% of the people who go to snowshoe you'll think the western territory (cupp/shays) will be "amazing" for the length of the run (does not apply if you've skiied outside of the southeast). silver creek is small, you'll get enough of it the two nights you're there- i don't think all of silver creek is lit though so i guess if you wanted to see the whole thing you could head over a little earlier in the afternoon.
for what it's worth my typical day at snowshoe (travelling with group of non-park skiers) looks like:
morning- dick around on groomers at main side of resort
afternoon- lap western territory
night- park laps at silver creek
