The searchbar is garbage.

I've come to the sad conclusion that if I'm looking for a thread, it's actually more effective to type it into google with "newschoolers" at the end than to actually use the site's searchbar. Why is it so bad?

wanna know how I know you're a noob?

because NS used to have two search bars, one was the google one. And 99% of people preferred the old searchbar to the google one that they got rid of it

I think the old google search bar was better than the shit right now.

Might as well just do away with the option all together. It is pretty useless.

your best bet is to actually use a search operator with google.

so site:newschoolers.com [search term]

If you use chrome you can do that right within the address bar and it works a charm.

this is the worst of any in the past. I loved the last searchbar, didnt really like the google searchbar, but this is actually unuseable.

google site:newschoolers.com blah blah, always works

Will this ever be fixed? I always get mad when people make threads then get downvoted and everyone says searchbar it, then you searchbar it and nothing comes up, i mean obviously threads about them exist, but they down show up, and not everyone knows to use google. I think if this is the best you guys can do, just do away with the searchbar completely (yes i realize this is like three years old)

Why is it that when I type in the name of a video verbatim it doesn't populate 99 percent of the time in the search bar. There is literally no way to view my own pic or vid content on mobile.
