....ok so i went to my regular ski shop to get my new bindings mounted on my unmounted troublemakers,,,soo i tell the guy to mount them +3,,,when i go to pick em up i bring them home and i measure it up and its not..soo i dont know what to do,,would it be worth it to have them remounted and have the holes in my skis?
Shope da Dope
It's fine to remount once and some shops say you can do it more than once, but I think it probably weakens the ski significantly. I just had my PEs remounted from factory center to +3.5 and they are fine...the shops use special plugs to waterproof the old holes and plus if you are only shifting them to +4, I don't think the old holes will even be exposed (they'll still be under the bindings. However, I think its shitty that the shop did it wrong! If you bought the skis there, I would demand they give you a new pair and mount them properly.
Pray for snow...
i would have bitched them out for fucking up, but i dont think its going to make that much of a diffrence. you could always just live with it.
