Experience 84? You must mean 88. And honestly I see no harm in recommending the 98s. They don't ski like a 100mm waist. Lots of rebound for trees and moguls, great float, stiff enough for crud, stable for fast charging, and really fun to increase the side bevel to 2 degrees and lay them over on the grooms until you're dragging a hip.
But even with that said, I'm sticking with the ON3P Tychoon. I've never skied it, but I've owned 4 pairs of ON3P's (about to be five) and every time I am blown away by their craftsmanship, performance, and durability. Working in a ski shop over the last 5 years, I can honestly say that I have never seen a ski that stays as flat as ON3P skis, regardless of how they were stored or taken care of.
