lets here your most embarrassing skiing experience!
mine is probably getting my tip caught while getting on the lift and flipping off of it or trying to do a drop under the chair at baker and double ejecting on landing

Going for a dfd that i had already done, landed right in the transition from down to flat and caught my edge. I flew very far.

Definitely on a super crowded day at Mt. Snow I tried to do a super hard nollie and I caught both tips in the snow and face planted, then proceeded to penguin slide down the slush and ended up in a small slush river. I also thought I tore my knee in half. Still a fun day though

The worst thing ever is when you're skiing alone, fall doing something stupidly easy like sliding a little box, eat shit, and then look around for someone to laugh about it with and then there's not, and you feel like everyone is looking at you like you're retarded.

last spring i went to ski over a large sheet of ice, i had skied over it earlier in the day, and it was completely solid. This time i decided to spin on the ice, almost immediately the ice cracked and i fell into water that was about 5 inches deep. I was soaked and cold for the rest of the night

going pretty fast and tried to nollie a roller, caught both my tips and scorpion/penguin slide for like 30 ft.  Brightons bottom park is right under the lift too so I got some good laughs outta it

Trying to do a 180 nose butter 180 off on a box and I over-rotated on the first 1 then flipped over straight to my face. I then proceeded to fly off the edge and land again, on my face. The worst part was is that there was this blazing hot skier chick watching the whole thing. I then proceeded to ski away with shame...

Fuck.

One time another skier and I got a little too close going exceptionally fast and I go down. I double eject and am rolling uncontrollably down this hill. I came to a stop after I completely demolished a SLOW DOWN sign at the bottom of the hill and had to take a walk of shame back up the hill to get my skis. People noticed too.

BIg 360 off balance and crashed pretty bad, i was being watched by about 100 people in the lift line.
Also my friend and i crashed into eachother under the lift, it was foggy though so not a lot of people saw.

i was at Mt. Snow lapping the park and i see a group of 20 racer girls cruising through, all standing on the landing of a jump. seeing the obvious opportunity to display my manliness to the sexually compatible females, i cruise in fast for a fat butter 540 over the landing right next to where the girls are standing. about 90 degrees through the spin, right as i start pressing, my downhill ski gets caught and pops off and i fucking sailed through the air and landed flat on my back in the flat. it knocked the wind out of me and then i had to walk back up to where they were standing to retrieve the ski that had popped off. im glad it was cold out because i was blushing really hard after that.

Towards the end of the season last year, I had just gotten my first pair of park-oriented poles. They were about a foot shorter than my previous poles. On only my third or fourth run with them, I went for a nollie over a knuckle. With the short poles, I leaned too far forward and caught both tips in the snow. I ended up supermanning for about 30 feet before smacking flat on my chest. Also my coat came up in midair so I landed on bare skin, resulting in some mad ice rash. Another time I was ducking under a rope and it caught me right between the helmet and goggles, clotheslining me and leaving this huge rugburn line across my forehead. That one was a bit difficult to explain.

Probably when I was rocking the snow blades. I hit a 15 foot cliff after slaloming through a group of gapers and double ejected and the ski came around and hit me in the head... the only day I didnt wear my helmet. 4 staples, last run. Fun day.

Or after a 3 foot storm at bretton woods, I went off trail a little under the lift right before the top station and hit a huge chunk of ice, double ejected, front flip, black out. Not even going that fast... Still have a bad back to say the least.

first time skiing i decided to be competitive and go down a double black with my cousin (he had about 2 years of skiing under his belt).made it about 20 feet down until i hit an edge and snowballed down the entire mtn..literally. i yardsaled and everything went flying. i was screaming like a little girl and clawing at the ground to try and stop my self. when i finally came to rest my cousin was about 10 feet behind my sliding on the ground laughing his ass off..one by one other skiiers brought my skis and poles..im still afraid of that trail and will never try and run switch down it like i usually do on most groomers.

I was night skiing past year at meadows, coming down from mount hood express. I was headed down to the little rail park at the bottom of the slopes. About halfway down, there is the loading area for meadows highest lift, Cascade. There is a cat track around the base of cascade to allow for skiers to converge in a line for the lift. Anyway, every time I had done this run that night, I had nollied off the cat track. Unfortunately, you can't see what is directly behind the drop off. As soon as I was airborne, I realized my trajectory brought me basically down into a group of these middle school shredders. Some of them weren't bad skiers. I basically landed on this little snowboarders shoulders, I tried to move out of the way in mid air, it got my skis out of his way, but my thigh hit this kid in the back of the head and we both ate shit. I immediately got up to check if he was alright. Turns out I hit one of four black people I have ever seen on the mountain. I felt terrible for doing it, so I apologized profusely. He eventually got up, I offered him a couple of dollars I had in my pocket because I felt so bad. He didn't take it, but whenever i see him now I give him the thumbs up. Sparks notes: I hit the only black kid on the mountain and felt bad about it.

So heres a good one... Lapping the park while i was on break. I was in that unfortunate situation where i work on saturdays and thats when all my friends were skiing and filming. I hadnt had a chance to film yet that season, so i decide to throw down right there right then. Bad idea. I decide that hey, im pretty good at 7's, why not try a 9? Another bad idea. Hit the jump, spin a 810 and land sideways on the landing. Ski catches but the force of me spinning causes me to spiral fracture my leg. Both tibia and fibula snapped clean in two. Best part was that i was still in my instructors jacket and my boss talked to me on the way to the ambulance. Needless to say it was pretty embarrassing.

I was up at snow valley in lake arrowhead and my heelpiece on the binding got caught on the elastic rope that ties the cloth to the chair. It was a decently fast non detachable two person so when I got up to ski off the chair whipped around to back downhill, and I went with it. Funniest shit ever, but not when you're ten years old and hanging upside down about ten feet off the ground

I was getting on a little 3-seater lift but the lifties had the loading poles too far to the right. Sat down right on the out side armrest and had that stuck in my crack for a while will yelping and trying to shuffle off of it without falling down what was now a 4 metre drop. Lifties just laughed. Mates were just cracking up as well... lessgoodtimes.

Went to jump over a branch laying on the side of a trail... jumped too soon so both skis went under the branch... smack into branch with my boots... double eject... stomped a front flip right to my boots... couldn't do it again if I tried

im pretty much a pure big mountain/pow skier cus i live in tahoe but i love skiing park cus i think its super fun...but im not good at all. all i can do are 180's/ shitty 360's and spins on boxes and rails and grabs. so i think thats pretty embarrassing cus ive been skiing forever.

went into the super pipe with 195s on did a 180 it was pretty dope... one time i was skiing hit the netting on the side of the hill double heel release did a front flip landed it except for the fact that i couldn't get my skis...

I was following my friend on a big 3 jump run, and he told me before the run that he was gonna try a dub 12 on the third.
So I start following, but after the first, I'm losing him. So I decide to gain speed to catch him and get the shot on the third jump. So I finally catch him, I'm going fucking fast, and I do not realize that beside the last jump there is a bump.
I get the bump faster than my friend that is going to take a 75-80 feet, and fly away. My head brushed the copping all the way and I landed at the bottom of the landing on my head.
I am still alive, not been injured at all.
I was a sunday afternoon, the park was really crowdy, that was embarrassing.
Never laugh, and made laugh like that.

today in a ski shop i was messing with my new look pivot bindings and my finger got smashed in the heelpiece and now i have a broken thumb. happened right in front of the guy who mounted them.

gaper day....on some old 250's with old bindings and a onesie tied around my waste to show off my bulging muscles..(..erm) and approaching some little jumps under the main park lift in my semi drunken stupor, binding popped off as i hit the takeoff and i slammed chest first into the lip scratching my whole chest and almost taking off my nipple. the whole lift was laughing and i got up and rode away with serious afterbang. oh and just before that on the same day, even more embarrassing...trying to hit on some semi hot looking ski chicks and then finding out they were underage

One of my many moments would be this year i was in the huge line for spankies and just as it opens my pole falls over and slides all the way down the hill to the cat track... it fucking sucked. i was like first 25 people inline. ran down got it and ran back up. and only missed my place by like 20 people. still felt like a total gaper.

Last season we had a really deep powder day up in marmot basin (which is a tiny resort), anyways, skiing through some trees me and some friends come upon a really nice cliff drop of about 20 ft.

My friends all drop off doing a few tweaked grabs but nothing too adventurous, this left me to be the last to drop, trying to show all of them up a feel the need to try a 3 off of it, bad idea,

So on the take off i catch one of my tips to the point where i was hurtling towards the ground, completely upside down to promptly bury myself head-first into the snow,

My friends then had to proceed to dig me out and immediately burst into laughter, an embarrassing experience one might say.

just riding down the trail to the park and I have a favorite side booter that I always hit, well as I am approaching this guys stops in the landing of it (clearly a tourist). Well I was like fuck it, ile send it over his skis and ride away like a pimp but no, I had to catch my edge, lose all my speed and fall onto the tips of skis and ride away like a dumbass.

When the mountain where I ski cut the trees down to put in their new quad a few years ago, they did a super shitty job. Like like they left logs and stumps in the trail under the lift.
So anyway I'm skiing down on the edge of the trail to get to this ledge I'm planning to send pretty big across the trail. Unfortunately, about 20ft above it my ski hits a barley covered log and pops off. Earlier that year, I bent the brake on that ski falling off a rail so it sometimes got stuck on the top of the ski and didn't go down. My ski flies down the entire trail and into a patch of trees at the bottom. I then have to ski down with one ski, while everyone on the lift yelled at me where my ski was, even though I was obviously skiing towards it.
Not as funny as the time my friend was sitting on his snowboard watching a park comp, gets up, and the board goes all the way to the base. The best part was that he yelled at it to stop the whole time he chased it down.
